This Newport RI Couples Session will have you wanting to book yours today! I had recently returned from a trip down to Charleston, South Carolina to attend a film mentorship and wanted to try out my new film camera purchase to test out what I’d learned. Cayla and Matt drove down from their Cape Cod, Massachusetts home on a freezing Saturday in February to waltz around the beautiful beaches and cobblestone streets of Newport, Rhode Island. Absolutely, freezing, but film camera in hand, this was one of the most exciting sessions I have done to date.

Even though this session happened over a year ago, they are still some of my favorite images. Especially being that this was the first film session I had done on my own! Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t completely confident in my film skills then as I am today – I still had my digital camera by my side to ensure that Cayla and Matt ended up with some photos, but I’d say they came out pretty well. 😉
